Jeffrey Greenstein
Founder and CEO
A Higher Standard was founded by Jeffrey Greenstein, who rose through the ranks at Millennium Media becoming President of the indie studio and President of International Sales & Distribution prior, in April 2015, during his near 15 year tenure.
Overseeing sales and distribution of all the company’s productions he’s handled over 70 films that have grossed upwards of $2 Billion in worldwide box office, including the Expendables franchise, the ‘Has Fallen’ franchise, the Mechanic franchise and the recent #1 box office hit, The Hitman’s Bodyguard.
Greenstein is a graduate of the University of Central Florida – College of Business Administration, where he majored marketing with a concentration in sales.
Prior to entering the film business, he worked as an Assistant Trainer for the Anthony Robbins Foundation, owned and published a professional development magazine for young professionals, and owned and operated a commercial carpet cleaning company he started at the age of 19.
Thayer Juergens
Head of Development Film & TV
Thayer Juergens is a producer and development executive with a decade of experience in the entertainment industry who has helped package and sell projects to Peacock, Disney+, MGM+, Amazon, and Twentieth Century Television. Before joining A Higher Standard, he served as Director of Development at Maniac Productions where he managed their studio deal with Blumhouse Television.
Prior to Maniac, he worked at Millennium Media where he contributed to such films as The Protégé, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Jolt, Till Death, and The Outpost. In addition to his executive experience, he also recently produced the independent feature film Junkie, which shot in Atlanta and Los Angeles last year.
His early career was in NYC at NBCUniversal, A&E, and HBO where for several years he coordinated marketing campaigns for shows such as Silicon Valley, Westworld, and Game of Thrones.
Thayer holds an MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory where he graduated in 2019. He earned his bachelor’s degree in theatre, English, and political science at Case Western Reserve University.
Danny Greenstein
Head of Business Development
Danny Greenstein is a seasoned professional in business and legal affairs within the entertainment industry, serving as the Head of Business Development for A Higher Standard. With a career that spans dozens of complex, high-profile projects, including “The Expendables 4”, “Hellboy: The Crooked Man”, and “The Protégé”, Danny’s strategic insight is instrumental in structuring each and every production from inception through finance to final delivery.
Danny’s foundation in Journalism – Media and Mass Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder gave him a unique perspective on international media & business, while his experience in the Rocky Mountains instilled a deep respect for nature. This balance between sharp business acumen and a grounded outlook has shaped his leadership philosophy—striving to leave a positive impact on every community where his work takes him.
Known for his kind and collaborative approach, Danny is an adept problem-solver who navigates the intricate legal landscapes of the entertainment industry with clarity and respect. His expertise in legal strategy, rights acquisition, and production management empowers him to anticipate and address challenges, ensuring A Higher Standard’s projects consistently meet both creative and logistical excellence.
In his role, Danny remains a steady, behind-the-scenes force, dedicated to upholding the vision and integrity of A Higher Standard’s groundbreaking work while fostering a legacy of lasting, positive influence.
Rebecca Raichek
Development and Sales Coordinator
Rebecca Raichek joined A Higher Standard after working as a coordinator at Black Label Media where she contributed to such films as Devotion, Reptile, and the Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody. During her tenure she helped shepherd and expand the creation of their TV slate, in addition to helping package multiple feature films. Prior to Black Label Media she worked at Paradigm in the talent department for two years.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in Film & TV at Syracuse University where she interned at Red Hour and Legendary Pictures.
